- What types of work does Halayqa General Contracting take on?
- We are a full-service general contractor covering interior and exterior painting, all flooring types — hardwood, engineered, laminate, tile and marble — full renovations, and commercial fit-outs for offices, retail, restaurants, warehouses and multi-residential buildings.
- Do you provide free estimates?
- Yes. Every estimate is free and detailed. We walk the space, confirm scope and materials, and send a written breakdown of labour, materials and timeline so there are no surprise costs later.
- How quickly can you start a project?
- Most residential projects are scheduled within one to two weeks of an approved estimate. Commercial work is scheduled around your operating hours, including phased and after-hours crews. Emergency calls are answered 24/7.
- Are you licensed and insured?
- Yes. Halayqa General Contracting operates as 16698450 Canada Inc. with full liability coverage and WSIB coverage for every crew member on site.
- What areas do you serve?
- We serve residential and commercial clients throughout Ontario, working out of our shop at 419 King Street West, Unit 4005, Oshawa, Ontario L1J 2K5.
- Do you handle emergency work?
- Yes. We respond 24/7 to water damage, flood cleanup, fire and smoke restoration, board-ups and urgent repairs, then carry the job through to the finished restoration.
- How do you protect my home or business during the work?
- Floors and furnishings are masked and covered before any work starts, dust control is set up for sanding and demolition, and the site is cleaned at the end of every working day.
- Do you supply materials, or should I?
- Either works. We supply premium paints, coatings and flooring at trade pricing, and we are happy to install client-supplied materials when you have already made your selections.
- What warranty comes with the work?
- Workmanship is guaranteed. If a finish fails because of our installation or application, we come back and correct it — manufacturer warranties on materials apply on top of that.
